Brother Ali : Palm the Joker

My wife and I belong to a group called the MN Food Bloggers, she runs our food blog, Eat.Drink.Life.Love, doing all the writing, and I take the pictures. Every other month or so, the group gets together at a local restaurant, and the money from the event goes to charity. Tonight, we are getting together at Heidi’s, one our favorite restaurants in the cities, and it also holds a special place in our hearts. You see, we had our first date at the old Heidi’s space. We were fortunate to have met Stewart and Heidi while they were working on their cookbook, and we are happy that we have made that connection. Now, you are probably wondering, what does all this food blog stuff have to do with Brother Ali. Well, apparently Stewart and Heidi knows Brother Ali, and he wanted to film his new video at the restaurant, and what better time to do it, when you have a bunch of food bloggers there! So, we are (hopefully) going to be in the new Brother Ali’s video! Which makes me just giddy! I have been a fan of Brother Ali since Forest Whitaker, but I think my favorite song from his is the one I present to you today. So, here is Palm the Joker… and who knows, maybe I will be posting the new video down the line, with hopefully, a cameo from me! For now… enjoy…
