Glen Campbell : Ghost on the Canvas

I’m a huge Paul Westerberg fan, and when I heard that Glen Campbell did a PW cover, I was a little skeptical. I mean, not everyone can cover PW, right? Well, I never thought I would like it, but it’s good, actually, it’s pretty great. He did the song justice. This is off his final album, since Glen has Alzheimer’s, and he decided that this would be his last recordings while he still had a mostly solid mind to do it. This video is pretty brilliant. It features his kids as his backing band, and well, what would it be without an appearance from PW himself. And well, they way they worked him in, the way that they did a little homage to a certain Replacements video, it was pure genius. So, not only enjoy the song, but enjoy the video…

And if you aren’t familiar with the Replacements video… here it is for you…
