Quietdrive : Get Up

I do have love to poppy punk, and these local guys do some of the best out there. I had found about about Quietdrive interestingly enough because they were featured on my start page of MySpace a loooooooooooong time ago. What’s MySpace you ask? Well, um, look it up on Google. They formed as a band back in 2002, and were originally named, Sneaker 2 Bombs, but changed their name to be a little less controversial going forward. They released several EP’s through those first few years, all self released, and in late 2004, they were contacted by Epic, and by the end of the year, they had a record deal in place. The next year was spent writing and recording, and the record company building up their name before deciding to release the record. After releasing two promotional only teaser EP’s, When All That’s Left Is You was finally released in May 2006. Such a great debut album, and Quietdrive has announced a special show celebrating their 10th Anniversary, by playing the whole album start to finish. This is a show not to be missed. It’s going to be at the 7th St. Entry on July 10th. Here’s the link to get the pre-sale tickets…  This is one of my favorite songs off the album, and the most underrated one on the album in my opinion…
